Bansk Group Acquires Majority Stake in Byoma
Bansk Group has recently acquired Yellow Wood Partners’ majority stake in the skin care brand Byoma. While the terms of the deal remain undisclosed, this acquisition aligns with Bansk’s strategy of building a portfolio of beauty and personal care brands. Byoma, launched in 2022, focuses on barrier health and targets both mass and prestige markets, being sold through major retailers like Target, Ulta, Sephora, and Boots.
Byoma plans to reach over $300 million in global retail sales by 2025, with a focus on innovation and marketing to enhance consumer awareness. The brand’s founder, Marc Elrick, retains a minority position and emphasizes the importance of science and research in product development.
Bansk Group sees significant growth potential in Byoma, aiming to refine the brand’s formulas and increase market awareness through strategic investments. The leadership team at Byoma will remain intact, and the brand will continue to operate independently while leveraging Bansk’s support to scale globally.
