OSEA Collaborates With General Atlantic for Worldwide Growth

OSEA, a seaweed-infused skincare brand, has secured a strategic growth investment from General Atlantic. This move sees CAVU Partners, who invested in OSEA in 2020, fully exiting its investment. Founders Jenefer and Melissa Palmer retain significant stakes and will continue leading the brand. Andrew Ferrer and Ben Sherman from General Atlantic will join OSEA’s board.

General Atlantic’s investment aims to expand OSEA’s presence internationally, starting with Mexico through Ulta Beauty, and later into Asia. Melissa Palmer expressed confidence in the partnership’s potential for innovation and expansion. Andrew Ferrer praised OSEA’s legacy and potential in clean beauty.

OSEA’s notable products, including the Undaria Algae Body Oil, contribute to its estimated $100 million annual sales. The brand is available at major U.S. retailers like Ulta Beauty and Nordstrom.
