Tambunan Women Display Beauty Beyond the Surface | Daily Express Malaysia

The Tambunan Program Pembangunan Pesona Unduk Ngadau 2025 highlights the importance of identity, cultural understanding, and confidence alongside beauty. Organized by the Tambunan Kaamatan Unduk Ngadau Committee, chaired by Puan Saldivilla, the initiative aims to enhance the capabilities of Unduk Ngadau participants annually. The program, supported by Tambunan Community College, provides opportunities for finalists to develop intellectually and culturally.

Seventeen finalists from Tambunan District completed the program themed ‘Jati, Jiwa, Jelita,’ a collaborative effort of the Tamarillo Unduk Ngadau Committee and the Community College’s Lifelong Learning Unit. The focus is on building confidence, public speaking skills, and cultural knowledge. Key sessions included a public speaking workshop in the mother tongue and an introduction to Tambunan’s traditional attire, featuring experienced speakers like Datuk Joanna Kitingan.

The two-day event concluded at the Community College, inaugurated by Assistant District Officer Willibrod Datuk Martin Idang. The Sodop Huminodun Unduk Ngadau Kaamatan Tambunan, involving the 17 finalists, will occur on April 25 at 6 pm.
