Biopic on Ole Henriksen, “The Glowing Man,” Unveiled at Cannes
Ole Henriksen, the renowned skin care expert, is preparing for his biopic titled “The Glowing Man.” Executive producer Niels Juul, known for collaborating with Martin Scorsese, and author James Wyllie are behind the project. The film, set to start production this fall, will spotlight Henriksen’s inspiring life, including his struggles with U.S. immigration as an openly gay man. Despite touching on serious themes, the film is designed to be uplifting, featuring music by gay icons like Diana Ross and David Bowie. Cameo appearances from celebrities like Sylvester Stallone and Cher are also anticipated. Henriksen’s brand, acquired by LVMH’s Kendo in 2011, supports the project, and Juul aims to delicately balance biographical storytelling with brand identity. The film, mostly in English, will include Danish and is aiming to engage an A-list actor capable of both languages. Juul is also exploring additional projects with major brands like Valentino and Adidas.
