Cult Beauty introduces a skincare guide for Gen Z and Alpha, as a quarter of tweens are found to use retinol.
Cult Beauty has launched a “Gen A–Z” skin care guide aimed at Gen Z and Gen Alpha, highlighting a need for straightforward, empowering guidance amidst misleading online beauty trends. In collaboration with the Respect Project and the British Beauty Council, the guide offers young people access to skin care routines, myth debunking, and educational content.
Research indicates that many tweens are using skin care products like retinol, with nearly half experiencing irritation. Influencers and gifts significantly influence product choices, often leading to unsuitable selections for younger skin.
The initiative includes contributions from dermatologists and provides resources such as a “skin school” e-zine, ingredients glossary, and advice to navigate the complexities of skin care for young audiences.
