Facial Studio Glowbar Unveils New Cleanser
Glowbar is expanding beyond its signature 30-minute facials by launching its first skincare product, the Expert Cleanser, priced at $28. This cleanser, designed to complement Glowbar’s services, is fragrance-free, paraben-free, vegan, and includes gentle exfoliants like AHAs, PHAs, and white willow bark. The company aims to enhance clients’ skincare routines between appointments.
Glowbar founder Rachel Liverman emphasizes the importance of at-home skincare, comparing it to maintaining fitness between gym sessions. The cleanser’s development involved feedback from over 300 aestheticians to ensure it meets clients’ needs.
The packaging is user-friendly, featuring a peephole for product levels and a QR code to book facials. Glowbar’s product line will expand, with new items planned for later this year and next.
This launch supports Glowbar’s strategy to grow its consumer base beyond the Northeast by building brand loyalty in areas without nearby studios. Additionally, Glowbar is increasing its physical presence, aiming to end the year with 22-23 studios, focusing on key markets like D.C. and Boston.
