Kirk Perry Appointed Interim CEO of Kenvue Amid Strategic Review
Thibaut Mongon has resigned as CEO of Kenvue and left the board. Kirk Perry has been appointed interim CEO while the company searches for a permanent replacement. Perry, a Kenvue director, has over 30 years of experience in consumer products and brand strategy.
Larry Merlo, Kenvue’s board chair, praised Perry’s expertise in technology, data, and global consumers. Perry expressed enthusiasm for leveraging his experience to strengthen the company’s business and financial performance.
Kenvue, spun from Johnson & Johnson in 2023, owns brands like Neutrogena and Tylenol. The board is reviewing strategies to enhance shareholder value, including portfolio assessment. The company’s stock rose 2.18% to $21.82 on Monday.
