Megalabs USA Purchases Geologie Skin Care Brand

The pharmaceutical company Megalabs USA has recently acquired Geologie, a skin, hair, and body care brand available at Target stores. This move follows their previous investment in the hair growth brand DS Laboratories. The acquisition details haven’t been fully disclosed, but it is noted that Geologie’s cofounders, Dave Skaff and Nick Allen, will be leaving the company. Geologie, launched in 2018 with dermatologist Dr. Steve Xu, has been popular among male consumers with products like Retinol Night Cream and Tone Control Face Cream. It expanded its reach by entering over 900 Target locations with its Clear System acne line. Fabian Rivero, CEO of Megalabs USA, expressed excitement about the addition of Geologie to their portfolio, emphasizing the company’s focus on innovative, clinically proven skincare solutions. The acquisition is seen as a significant milestone for Geologie, with Megalabs expected to guide the brand’s future growth while maintaining its commitment to effective skincare products.
