Perfect Diary Enhances Bionic Film Technology and Ventures into Skincare and New Lipstick Lines
Yatsen Holdings recently introduced its advanced film former technology, Biotec, during an event. Cheng Jing, the chief scientific officer, explained that this new technology stimulates myogenic stem cells to provide comprehensive anti-aging benefits for the skin. The innovation uses a second-generation pomegranate peptide complex and biotechnology to work on various skin layers.
Developed with input from 23 research institutions and 42 scientists, the Biotec technology received validation from Ruijin Hospital and SGS. A collaborative study with Sun Yat Sen University was published in prestigious journals, establishing a significant milestone in functional cosmetics.
Perfect Diary, a Yatsen brand, has upgraded its Biolip Essence Lipstick with this technology, claiming rapid and significant wrinkle reduction on lips. The technology now extends into skin care products like creams and masks, aiming to merge makeup with skincare for holistic beauty solutions.
Founder Huang Jinfeng highlighted Yatsen’s commitment to R&D with substantial investments and infrastructure, including a Global Innovation and R&D Centre and Yatsen Biotech. The company is set on a path to continually innovate in beauty products, integrating skincare and makeup.
