The company alleges that these individuals have disseminated misleading information regarding its product, Dettol antiseptic liquid, via a viral podcast and an Instagram reel. The content in question reportedly suggests that Dettol is unsafe for skin application, claiming it can burn wounds and delay the healing process. Reckitt disputes these assertions, stating they are false and potentially harmful to its brand’s reputation, particularly given the widespread reach of the social media content involved.
