SpaceX Starship Flight 9
The highly anticipated launch of Starship Flight 9, featuring Booster 14-2 and Ship 35, is set to take place from Pad A at Starbase, Earth. The launch window opens at 18:30 local time (23:30 UTC) on Tuesday, May 27. This mission will see Booster 14 splashing down in the Gulf, as SpaceX focuses on testing Ship 35. The goal is to successfully perform a SECO with the upgraded Block 2 version, following two previous attempts that didn’t reach this target.
Ship 35, the third Block 2 Ship, includes several enhancements to address issues from prior Flights 7 and 8.
