“Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere,” from 20th Century Studios, explores the creation of Bruce Springsteen’s 1982 album “Nebraska.” This film captures a young Springsteen, on the brink of international fame, as he grapples with the tension between his burgeoning success and the shadows of his past. Using a 4-track recorder in his New Jersey bedroom, Springsteen crafted this poignant acoustic record filled with restless souls seeking meaning.
Jeremy Allen White stars as Springsteen, under the direction of Scott Cooper, who adapted the screenplay from Warren Zanes’ book “Deliver Me from Nowhere.” The cast also includes Jeremy Strong as manager Jon Landau, Paul Walter Hauser as guitar tech Mike Batlan, Stephen Graham as Springsteen’s father, Odessa Young as love interest Faye, Gaby Hoffman as his mother Adele, Marc Maron as Chuck Plotkin, and David Krumholtz as Columbia executive Al Teller. The film is set for a theatrical release on October 24, 2025, with production by Cooper, Ellen Goldsmith-Vein, Eric Robinson, and Scott Stuber, and executive production by Tracey Landon, Jon Vein, and Zanes.
