Kenvue considers selling certain skin health and beauty brands, sources report
Kenvue is considering selling some of its underperforming skin health and beauty brands to refocus on core products. After its spin-off from Johnson & Johnson in 2023, the company plans to offload smaller brands like Clean & Clear and Dr.Ci:Labo while keeping major ones like Neutrogena and Aveeno. This move, advised by Goldman Sachs, involves brands generating over $500 million in revenue, a small fraction of Kenvue’s $15.5 billion revenue in 2024. The decision follows a 4.8% decline in the unit’s sales and pressure from activist investors to streamline operations.
