新加坡民主党在本届大选全军覆没，在竞逐的四个选区当中，有两个是民主党候选人第二次上阵，但得票率都比上届大选有所减少。 民主党在本届大选竞逐马西岭-油池和三巴旺集选区，以及武吉班让和三巴旺西单选区。 其中，在三巴旺集选区的三角战中，民主党以29.93%的得票率落败；马西岭油池集选区的得票率为26.54%，表现不如上届大选的36.82%。 秘书长徐顺全在三巴旺西单选区也以46.81%的得票率落败。徐顺全对这个结果感到非常失望，但尊重选民的决定。他表示，团队接下来几个月将仔细分析相关的数据。 “是因为从武吉巴督他们跟我们划到变成集选区，我只是想说他们政府会给我们多一点时间，一个月把那个选区划掉然后到解散国会，我是觉得一个月没有办法（接触选民），行动党不应该玩这种游戏，做到这样子我是觉得不好看。” 再次在武吉班让单选区披甲上阵的淡马亚，得票率也从上届大选的46.27%，下跌到38.59%。淡马亚认为，反对党整体的得票率都下滑，显示行动党利用关税课题制造恐慌的竞选策略已经奏效。 “我觉得最主要的原因是2020年是COVID19的时候，因为我是感染病的专家，我每天在电视或者是报纸上，人家会比较多认识我，这次我是跟其他候选人一样，没有什么特别，因为现在没有COVID没有flu什么的，你看那个PSP的（候选人）也是30多巴仙。” 民主党将在星期一召开记者会，向支持者说明接下来的计划和策略。 更多相关报道，请浏览《大选2025》专页。 Source link
