Coperni Enters Beauty Market with Probiotic Activewear



Coperni is stepping into the beauty realm with its new fashion-as-skincare athleisure line, unveiled at the Oct. 6 Paris Fashion Week. The French label’s C+ collection features leggings, a top, and a bodysuit infused with probiotics and prebiotics, designed to transfer benefits from fabric to skin. This “carewear” aims to bridge fashion and skincare, drawing inspiration from the current beauty era and consumer interest in multifunctional products.

Previously known for tech-driven runway spectacles, Coperni is shifting focus to commercial viability. The priced C+ items (€150-€180) are set to debut for pre-orders online before their fashion week showcase. Collaborating with HeiQ, the clothing promises to last at least 40 washes, enhancing the skin’s microbiome.

The brand envisions expanding into beauty retail and potentially centering future shows around wellness. Co-founder Sébastien Meyer sees the collection as a convergence of beauty, clothes, and fashion, while CEO Arnaud Vaillant highlights its commercial potential.
