In the gripping series “Last Samurai Standing,” warriors from a turbulent era engage in a high-stakes battle royale. Set during the Meiji period in the late 19th century, 292 fighters, including Shujiro Saga (played by Junichi Okada), gather at Kyoto’s Tenryuji Temple, enticed by the lure of a substantial cash prize. Each participant receives a wooden tag, marking their entry into a perilous contest where they must seize the tags of others and reach Tokyo to claim victory.

As night falls, tension mounts and the temple becomes a battleground for these fierce competitors. The game begins with a signal, unleashing a ruthless struggle for survival.
