Soko Glam Introduces K-Beauty Brands Some By Mi and Skin 1004 to Space NK

Last month, Space NK, a U.K.-based beauty retailer recently acquired by Ulta Beauty, launched a partnership with Soko Glam to introduce K-beauty shops-in-shop in 30 of its 83 stores across the U.K. and Ireland. This collaboration, starting on August 12, will bring Korean beauty brands like Some By Mi, Skin 1004, Neogen, and others to the retailer. Additionally, the Soko Glam Best of K-beauty Edit will be available online.

The initiative includes not only skincare but also makeup, hair, body, and fragrance products. Charlotte Cho, co-founder of Soko Glam, emphasized that the goal is to make popular K-beauty brands accessible globally, amidst the trend’s growing popularity.

Despite challenges like a 15% tariff on South Korean imports in the U.S., Soko Glam has maintained its pricing. The shop-in-shop will be featured in Space NK’s new 4,600-square-foot London flagship at Oxford Circus.

As the demand for K-beauty expands globally, color cosmetics are highlighted as the next area of growth, with Korean brands continually innovating in packaging and formula development.
