Charlize Theron Layers Sheer Fishnet Bodysuit Over Underwear

Charlize Theron is continuing her streak of nearly naked dressing with another sheer look, this time courtesy of the French fashion house Givenchy. Stepping out at the Los Angeles premiere of The Old Guard 2, the actress sported a full-body fishnet look over a simple black bra and matching black undies. The ensemble was stamped with the Givenchy logo and finished off with a simple black blazer and black boots.

Theron stars in The Old Guard 2 alongside Kiki Layne, Uma Thurman, and Veronica Ngô. The thriller is a sequel to the 2020 movie of the same name, and centers on a group of mercenaries with special healing abilities that render them essentially (though not completely) immortal. The group is tasked with “protecting the world,” according to Netflix.

At the premiere, the actress revealed that she was particularly excited about Thurman joining the cast of the sequel; in particular, she called a scene in which the two actors dual it out “everything that we hoped for.”

“It’s what we got excited about in the pre-production,” she told People. “We’re so grateful that she said yes. And I look at the movie now and I still pinch myself. I still can’t believe she said yes.”

As for Theron’s daring fishnet onesie? It comes on the heels of last month’s similarly sheer look, which she wore while appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live to promote Netflix’s The Old Guard 2, not to mention a slew of other stars who have experimented with see-through fashion, like Emma Stone, Heidi Klum, and Halle Berry.
