Someone in Pa. won over $500K playing online lottery game

The Pennsylvania Lottery announced today that a player from Northumberland County has won $535,851.39 playing the online game Bucks Triple Play.

Bucks Triple Play is a “connect-style” game that asks players to match three symbols on a 3 x 5 grid. Users have the chance to multiply their winnings up to 63 times, as well as unlock 10 free games, and activate a bonus game. The cost to play is anywhere between $1 to $50.

All of Pennsylvania Lottery’s online games can be played on just about any on a computer, tablet, or mobile device. Users can also buy Powerball, Mega Millions, Treasure Hunt, Cash4life, Match 6 Lotto and PICK game tickets online. Subscriptions are also available.

In order to play the online games, users must create an account at the lottery’s website and add a payment method, such as a debit card, credit card or linked bank account.

Pennsylvania is one of 13 U.S. states to sell lottery products online.
